West Place Animal Sanctuary Private Tour

    Sunday Oct 6th - 2:00 pm - 3:30pm

Come meet the residents of West Place Animal Sanctuary including cows, alpacas, donkeys, an emu, pigs, ducks, and more. https://www.westplace.org/about

Location: 3198 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI 02878

Open to members, spouses, children, and other guests. Fun for all ages!

Price: $15 for members, $20 per adult guest, and $15 per child (12 and under). All proceeds go directly to farm operating expenses.

**Reservations for adults and children will have to be purchased in separate transactions. Sorry for the inconvenience. **

Each tour with Q&A runs approximately 1.5 hours, and groups are welcome to walk among the lovely gardens and enjoy the expansive grounds, have photo shoots with animals, and browse the gift shop.

After the tour, you can check out nearby Historic Tiverton Four Corners (https://www.tivertonfourcorners.com/) for lunch, shopping, or ice cream.

A few notes about the tours: The sanctuary is 8 acres so comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. There will be lots of interaction with the farm animal rescues, including petting and feeding treats. There will be lots of great photo opportunities and if anyone wants to post to social media West Place ask that you tag @westplaceanimalsanctuary .

Almost all of the animals have been rescued from abuse, neglect, or cruelty so we ask that guests are always aware of their surroundings and respectful of the animals (no running, yelling, etc.) If anyone would like to bring supplies for a picnic either before or after the tour, there is space out front where the animals won't interfere with your lunch. They just ask that whatever you carry in you carry out with you.

Please email Erin at vicepresident.mson@gmail.com with any questions.

*All ticket sales are final. No returns unless we are sold out and someone from the waitlist can take your place*

Join us for an evening autumnal stroll hosted by historian and paranormal researcher, Joan Quinn. Experience a 90-minute walking tour through the historic town of Bristol, beginning in front of the Old State House in the Town Commons and concluding at the beautiful Linden Place.

This leisurely tour delves into Bristol’s rich history, including the early Wampanoag tribes and their sacred base camp. Discover the effects of King Philip’s War, which brought significant conflict and bloodshed to the area, as well as the Revolutionary War and the notorious DeWolf family.

Intriguing ghost stories tied to these historical events will also be shared. With a background in history and museum work, combined with 15 years of experience in paranormal studies and appearances on the Travel Channel’s “Kindred Spirits,” Joan offers a unique blend of historical insights and paranormal exploration.
